Hi Folks!

I wasn't able to make the 12:30 a.m. delivery I have the attention span of a gnat right about now. Also, I think I just discovered why other folk might stick to one or two lists.

Can you imagine what it is like trying to send a newsletter to ten lists?  Not cute ... which is why I created this list, but as we can see ... ONLY about ten percent opted to join.  I understand that folk might not like to get three emails from the same list in one week but I think in this case they might forgive me ... don't you?

Great news! The book shipment is on its way and will arrive on Friday! I started to sweat about it, but decided that God had it covered and my time would be better spent reaching out to subscribers, acquaintances and folk mentioned in the book.  That's the beauty of keeping it real, you don't have to worry about who reads what and you'll know it's all good.

Here's to us resolving to keep it real today and everyday.

Peace,
Dee

Age is Just a Number:
 Adventures in Online Dating
by D.S. White

From Kathi Macias
"If there is one word to describe the musings of this delightful first-time author it would be "refreshing." D.S. White is refreshingly honest, refreshingly funny, and refreshingly human. I feel as if I've just discovered a long-lost friend or relative. Readers will relate to the absolutely real words and thoughts that decorate the pages of this "blook" (the first I've ever read, by the way), and will come away from their read with insight to their own hearts and lives."

Man Camp by Adrienne Brodeur

From Booklist
Subtitle this novel "Revenge of the Chicks." Tired of the emotionally sensitive, politically evolved metrosexual men of New York City, Lucy and Martha long for a guy in touch with his masculine side. Owner of FirstDate, a service helping single men understand why they get no further, Martha is disgusted with the lack of chivalry in her clients. During a romantic getaway weekend, Lucy learns her hapless boyfriend, Adam, can't jump-start a car and jumps at strange noises in the woods. Along with Cooper, an old college chum of Lucy's, the idea of Man Camp is hatched. Cooper will take these clueless dopes to his dairy farm in West Virginia and bring out the he-man in all of them. The men must change tires, milk cows, shoot, hunt, and fish, and the expected hilarity ensues. Everyone is a type: the open-minded academic, the self-important executive, and the sexist media producer. Readers willing to suspend the belief that highly polished New York men would deign to muck out manure will have fun with this predictable but enjoyable novel. Kaite Mediatore
